Author Guidelines

We invite all Ph.D. students and ECRs working on sustainability transitions to submit a 400-word abstract (please use our template provided in the submission tool), for a 15-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion. Please include a 100-150 word biography of the presenting author. Please also provide five strong keywords that determine the area of research.

We accept submissions over a wide range of theoretical and empirical topics in the transitions field in a classical NEST-conference fashion. This includes, but is not limited to, understanding transitions; power, agency, and politics; governing transitions; civil society, culture, and social movements; businesses and industries; transitions in practice and everyday life; geography of transitions; ethical aspects; and methodologies.

The new deadline for abstract submission is February 15, 2023. You will receive our notification of acceptance in March 2023.
