9th Network for Early Career Researchers in Sustainability Transitions (NEST) Conference 2024

We are excited to announce the 9th NEST Conference 2024 themed Addressing Inequalities and Sustainability Transitions. The conference will take place on the 6-7 of September 2024 in an unique hub format.

The annual NEST Conference presents an opportunity for exchange between early career researchers (ECRs) working on topics related to the field of sustainability transitions. The 9th NEST Conference (2024) will be co-hosted by the Center for Research on Digitalization and Sustainability (CREDS), Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Norway; Center for Sustainability Transitions (CST), Stellenbosch University, South Africa; Monash Sustainable Development Institute (MSDI), Monash University, Australia and will take place on the 6^th and 7^th September 2024 in an on-site format.

The purpose of the conference is to provide a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and research discussion among junior and senior scholars. The conference aims to promote worldwide scientific collaboration between ECRs. We accept submissions on sustainability transition themes at local and global scales, whether they concentrate on debating theoretical approaches or examining emerging methodologies for sustainability transition research.

The conference structure this year presents a unique hub format and includes a variety of engaging sessions, inspiring keynotes, and innovative formats to promote discussion on issues pertaining to sustainable transitions in diverse contexts. Communication between participants will be interactive. Thanks to the hub conference, participants from diverse geographical locations will be able to share their most recent research and concepts for enriching the context of sustainability transitions. Finally, there will be plenty of fun, time for socializing and networking with your peers from all over the globe!
