The eudaimonic well-being benefits in entrepreneur’s personal networks

Abstract

The entrepreneurs’ well-being is important factor both in economic and individual perspectives.
Psychological well-being such as happiness and sensations of fulfilling lives are connected to
healthier lives, increased work productivity and creativity. The aim of this research is to
describe and develop understanding of the entrepreneurs’ experiences of eudaimonic wellbeing within their personal networks. This qualitative research is based on 24 interviews
conducted to entrepreneurs in small and middle-sized enterprises in Finland. The preliminary
findings show the interaction in personal networks facilitate experiences of eudaimonic wellbeing. However, this research is still in process, and more in-depth analysis is required.
